Stephanie Khachakjian from BATTLEAXE DIMES

Rebel Row: Introduce yourself and tell Rebel Row readers a bit about why you make the perfect Rebel…

SK: My musical tastes change daily, it all depends on what I’m in the mood for. Right now I’m listening to the new slain album, the king of everything else , I also love listening to artists such as Swollen Members, Moka Only, brother ali, sam smith , Michael buble.

RR: You’ve professed your love for hip-hop music. Tell us a bit about what turned you onto hip-hop and what your musical tastes are?

SK: What tuned me into hip hop, was when I was 12 years old and I heard balance by swollen members, after that I was hooked.

Craig Morgan Kidde Fire Safety LaunchRR: You are a Battleaxe Dime, the movement started by Madchild from Swollen Members. Can you tell us a little bit about what the Dimes are about and why you got involved with the movement?

SK: The Battleaxe dimes are a group of girls with similar interests and tastes, we are also a sister hood. I’ve been a huge supporter of swollen members and the battleaxe crew for over 12 years now. The minute I heard about the battleaxe dimes I was thrilled and couldn’t wait to get on board, a year ago I was made division leader for the Ontario Battleaxe dimes, and it was a huge honor.

RR: The Battleaxe Dimes seem like a family of like minded people. Have you met other people in the movement because you share that common bond?

SK: I’ve met tons of great people because of the Battleaxe Dimes movement . People I’m glad and honored to call friends / family .

RR: If you could only take one album with you to a desert Island what would it be?

SK: If I could only take one album on a desert island it would be, dangerous my Michael JacksonRowGirlPinup_lite01

RR: Tell us about your tattoos and your first experience getting inked?

SK; My tattoos are very wide ranged and colorful, honestly nothing really matches with each other but at the same time they all blend together. My first time getting tattooed I was 13 years old, not the smartest decision I’ve ever made, but I’ve gotten that tattoo covered since then

RR: What’s next for you if you could get anything tattooed?

SK: My next tattoo is either going to be a second rose on my neck , or a portrait of Morticia Adams on my thigh.

RR: What qualities do you think make someone a perfect Rebel?

SK: I think a girl who is 100% unapologetically herself , makes the perfect rebel .
