ROWgirl – Felisha Marie
Rebel Row: Introduce yourself and tell Rebel Row readers a bit about why you make the perfect Rebel…
Felisha Marie: My name is Felisha Marie.I have over 16 years of experience with modeling. I’ve done promotional modeling for ‘Redneck Shake’, Budweiser, and Emerald Girls. I’ve been in music video’s for DEMUN JONES ‘LAKEHOUSE’ and BIG ENGINE ‘SHAKE THAT THING’. Also more videos in the near future. I am a country girl at heart, always have been and always will be, i LOVE the outdoors.
RR: You’ve professed your love for hip-hop music. Tell us a bit about what turned you onto country rap scene and what your musical tastes are?
FM: When i was younger i grew up listening to EVERYTHING. LOVE all genres of music. As i became older and actually understood the meaning of the music I became more into country. I LOVE everything country music is about.
RR: We’re big into outlaw country music on the site and you have done some modelling for BBQ seasoning. How did you get started and how did that come about?
FM: Shane Dillingham ( owner/founder) of ‘Redneck Shake INC’ contacted my manager/photographer, Richard Greene about being interested in doing PROMO modeling for his company.
RR: Fave groups in the hick-hop scene at the moment and why? I LOVE COLT FORD, DEMUN JONES, THE LACS, JAWGA BOYS, BUBBA SPARXXX. I love what the bands represent and the meaning of their music.
RR: You recently starred in the video for Demun Jones “Lake House”. What was that experience like and how did you get involved? The experience for starring in my very first video for DEMUN JONES was absolutley incredible. My Manger, Richard Greene, has been great friends with DEMUN JONES and alot of the artists of AVERAGE JOES ENTERTAINMENT. DEMUN and Richard spoke about the video and DEMUN asked Richard to bring me to the shoot.
RR: From you pictures you are an avid gun enthusiast. Tell us what guns do you own or prefer to shoot?
FM:I LOVE guns. I prefer to shoot glock 9mm, remington 1100, and my hunting rifle which is a remington 700-BDL-30-06.
RR: Do you hunt or fish? If so which of the two do your prefer and why?
FM: Feel free to share any great hunting or fishing stories…. I hunt and fish and love the outdoors. My main preference is hunting because of the relaxation of the woods, early mornings and late evenings. Also the enjoyment of nature and their habitat.
RR: What song is on your iPod right now and why?
FM: COLT FORD- CRANK IT UP. I love that song, great beat and amazing artist and that is actually my main song when i do my shoots.
RR: If you had to call bullshit on one trend happening right now what would it be?
FM: To be honest it starts to become annoying when my manager/photograher Richard’s and my well thought out ideas and work gets mimicked.
RR: You have a couple tattoos tell us about each and what they mean to you…
FM: I have 4 tattoos. My very first tattoo is on my lower belly it was done at age 18, it was my way of expressing my ‘freedom’. My second tattoo is on my left arm, its my zodiac sign (LIBRA), expresses everything about. My third tattoo is between my shoulder blades its a design in the middle of a tribal sign representing my heritage. My last tattoo is on my right arm. It is a full inside sleeve, it consists of my childrens names, my love for lillies, my wild side of cheetah print and last but not least my love for Marilyn Monroe.
RR: Tell us about your first tattoo experience and what it was like…
FM: I was 18 years old. I have always loved tattoos and wanted a tattoo so I went to my cousin and he started the tattoo on my belly. It honestly did not hurt, was a intense feeling and felt amazing.
RR: Are you into cars at all? What do you currently drive?
FM: I am more into trucks especially MUDD trucks. I currently drive a truck.
RR: If you could buy any car what would you buy?
FM: I would buy a ROCKY RIDGE truck. They are the best lifted 4X4s I’ve seen on a car lot.
RR: Here is your chance to plug your website and let us know everything you’re currently working on….
FM: Currently working on promos and music videos.
RR: What qualities do you think make someone a perfect Rebel?
FM: The perfect rebel would be one who stands their ground and straight forward- not the beat around bush type of personality. They would also have to LOVE the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature.
