Three people run over by #MudBogger in Vassar
Vassar Township had a mud bogging event where three people were run over by a truck. Mark Snyder was talking to two women, Tylor Washburn, 21 and Caity Schlaud, 19 when a mud bogger driven by Jason Anthony Boyd ran over them. Mark threw the two women on the ground, laid on top of them and tried to maneuver them between the tires. In the process his leg was run over and one of the girls was possibly hit by the transfer case. All three went to the hospital where one of the women has already been released.
“”Mark saved my life as well as my best friend’s,” Schlaud, 19, said. “If it weren’t for him, our friends and family would be attending our funerals. We were both in the line of the tires, and with a truck that big going that fast, neither of us would have stood a chance.””
The driver of the truck was arraigned in Tuscola County District Court on charges including operating under the influence, causing injury and driving on a suspended license causing serious injury.
