We’ve been raving about Redneck Souljers since the site started. C-Hubb and Fatt Tarr rip the mic every time they jump up in the booth and they are criminally underrated in the country rap scene. For anyone that hasn’t checked them out yet, we’ve made it simple for you and after the jump we give you the “Top 5 Best Redneck Souljers Songs”:

#1 – “Down This Road”:
“Down This Road” has more hooks than a tackle box, and shows Redneck Souljers versatility and the fact that they are songwriters that just happen to rap. The hook on this song is infectious and makes it an instant classic that you can play over and over again.

#2 – “Fish In A Barrel” feat. D. Thrash of Jawga Boyz
The chemistry between Redneck Souljers and D. Thrash of Jawga Boyz rapping over classic rock guitars makes for a match made in heaven.

#3 – “I Mow, I Till”:
“I Mow, I Till” is an explosive banger that blows up like tannerite the minute you hit play. Ed Pryor simply killed the beat on this track and it stick in your head long after the song is finished.

#4 – “Get Off My Land” feat. Lil Wyte:
Both C-Hubb and Fatt Tarr simply body bag this track with some venomous rhymes that will prove why they are one of the hottest groups in the country rap scene. The lyrics are completely raw and the beat forces listeners to bod their head and shake their ass. This track is raw, grimy rap at it best and Lil Wyte joins in with a lethal verse.

#5 – “Tiller Gang” (cover of Wiz Khalifa’s “Taylor Gang”):
Nowhere is Redneck Souljers appreciation for hip-hop more apparent then in their cover of Wiz Khalifa’s “Taylor Gang”, which they affentionately renamed “Tiller Gang”. The guys take the original track and respectfully recreate it as an anthuem for the south that waves the flag for the farming, fishing, hunting way of life.
